Eligible Students can apply online for post of CDS 1 2022 exam from 22nd December to 11th January 2022. CDS exam is conducted twice a year.

LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION AND WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATIONS:
- The Online Applications can be filled upto 11th January, 2022 till 6:00 PM.

CDS (1) 2022 Eligibility Criteria
CDS 2022 Age Limit
(i) For IMA: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1999
and not later than 1st January, 2004 only are eligible.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than
2nd January, 1999 and not later than 1st January, 2004 only are eligible.
(iii) For Air Force Academy : 20 to 24 years as on 1st January, 2023 i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January, 1999 and not later than 1st January, 2003 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and
current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 yrs.
i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January, 1997 and not later than 1st January, 2003 only
are eligible.
Note: Candidate below 25 years of age must be unmarried. Marriage is notpermitted during training. Married candidates above 25 years of age are eligibleto apply but during training period they will neither be provided marriedaccommodation nor can they live with family out of the premises.{alertInfo}
(iv) For Officers' Training Academy—(SSC Course for men) unmarried male
candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1998 and not later than 1st January,
2004 only are eligible.
(v) For Officers' Training Academy—(SSC Women Non-Technical Course)
Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless
divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are
eligible. They should have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1998 and not
later than 1st January, 2004
CDS (1) 2022 Educational Qualifications:
(i) For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai — Degree of a recognised
University or equivalent.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy— Degree in Engineering from a recognised
University/Institution.
(iii) For Air Force Academy—Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and
Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
CDS 2022 Exam Fee
Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card.

How to fill CDS Exam 2022?
Candidates are required to apply online by using the website of UPSC
CDS Exam Application Form 2022 instructions:
1. Candidates will be required to complete the Online Application form
containing two stages with Part I and Part II as per the instructions
available in the above mentioned site through drop down menu.
2. The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees two
hundred only). SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

3. Before start filling up Online Application, a candidate must have his
photograph and signature duly scanned in the .jpg format in such a
manner that each file should not exceed 300 KB each and must not be
less than 20 KB in size for the photograph and signature.
4. A candidate must have his Matriculation Certificate ready prior to
filling up his application form. The details with. Candidate’s Name,
Father’s Name, Mother’s Name & Date of Birth to be filled in Online
Application Form of the candidate should match exactly with
particulars mentioned in the Matriculation Certificate.
5. Candidate should also have details of one photo ID
viz. Aadhar Card/ Voter Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving
License/ Any other photo ID Card issued by the State/Central
Government. The details of this photo ID will have to be provided by
the candidate while filling up the online application form. The
candidates will have to upload a scanned copy of the Photo ID whose
details have been provided in the online application by him/her. This
photo ID will be used for all future referencing and the candidate is
advised to carry this ID while appearing for examination/Personality
Test/SSB.
6. The Online Applications (Part I and II) can be filled from 22nd
December, 2021 to 11th January, 2022 till 6:00 PM.

ENGLISH
The question paper will be designed to test the candidates’ understanding of
English and workmanlike use of words.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE
General Knowledge including knowledge of current events and of such matters of
everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of
an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. The
paper will also include questions on History of India and Geography of a nature
which candidate should be able to answer without special study.
ELEMENTARY MATHEMATICS
ARITHMETIC
Number System—Natural numbers, Integers, Rational and Real numbers.
Fundamental operations, addition, substraction, multiplication, division, Square
roots, Decimal fractions. Unitary method, time and distance, time and work,
percentages, applications to simple and compound interest, profit and loss, ratio and
proportion, variation.
Elementary Number Theory—Division algorithm. Prime and composite numbers.
Tests of divisibility by 2, 3, 4, 5, 9 and 11. Multiples and factors. Factorisation
Theorem. H.C.F. and L.C.M. Euclidean algorithm. Logarithms to base 10, laws of
logarithms, use of logarithmic tables.
ALGEBRA
Basic Operations, simple factors, Remainder Theorem, H.C.F., L.C.M., Theory of
polynomials, solutions of quadratic equations, relation between its roots and
coefficients (Only real roots to be considered). Simultaneous linear equations in two
unknowns—analytical and graphical solutions. Simultaneous linear inequations in
two variables and their solutions. Practical problems leading to two simultaneous
